Banana Walnut Cake - Eggless

Here is the recipe for making Eggless Banana Walnut Cake. The Banana Walnut Cake is a very easy to make and an irresistible item to eat

Equipment

  • Microwave Oven

Ingredients
  

Dry Ingredients

  • 1 Cup All Purpose Flour
  • 1 Tsp Baking Powder
  • 1/2 Tsp Baking Soda
  • 1/4 Tsp Cinnamon Powder
  • 1 Pinch Salt Add to taste
  • 1/4 Cup Walnut Roughly Chopped

Wet Ingredients

  • 1/2 Cup Jaggery
  • 1/4 Cup Yoghurt At room temperature
  • 2 Nos Banana Overripe
  • 1/4 Cup Oil Olive Oil
  • 1 Tsp Vanilla Essence
  • 1 Tbsp Honey

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the Oven at 180 Degree Celsius
  • Grease and Flour the Baking Tin
  • Sieve Dry Ingredients except Walnut three times and keep aside
  • Mix a little Flour in chopped Walnuts and keep aside
  • Mash the Bananas and keep aside
  • Take a Bowl and mix Olive Oil, Jaggery, Yoghurt, Honey and Vanilla Essence
  • This is how the mixture looks like
  • Add mashed Bananas. Mix it well with the mixture
  • Add the dry ingredients and fold in gently. Add the Walnuts too
  • Pour the batter in the greased tin
  • Bake it for 30 to 35 minutes. The time can vary depending upon the Oven used. Check if cooked thoroughly, by inserting a toothpick or a fork. If it comes out clean, then it is cooked. Remove it from the Oven if cooked well and allow it to cool. Otherwise continue cooking
  • This is the cooked Banana Walnut Cake
  • Once the Cake has cooled down, cut it into slices and enjoy
