Al Noor Island is a place where you can relax and find peace. The ambience is very good even if you’re not a nature lover, surely you will love the entire island. This is in the Buhairah Corniche, Khalid Lagoon in Sharjah.
Since its opening in December 2015, Al Noor Island has won a host of prestigious international awards. Working Hours on the week days is 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. and on weekends it is 9:00am to 12:00 midnight. The Butterfly House there is open Daily from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
You have to buy tickets to enter the island. Tickets are available at the ticket counter at the entry gate. You can have self or guided tour (with special charges), of the island and the facilities. Charges are displayed in front of the counter. You have to buy separate tickets for entry into the island and entry into the Butterfly House.
Due to Covid-19, it is mandatory to wear face masks and follow social distancing. The guidelines are shown at the entry gate. You can carry cameras and mobile phones to take pictures or video but drones are not allowed inside. Also you cannot carry food items. Drinking water is allowed inside.
We had a visit to the Island last week and we enjoyed it to the fullest. Don’t wait…just go there and enjoy. You will love it.
