Jebel Jais – A Quick Tour

Jebel Jais – A Quick Tour

Jebel Jais is the highest peak in UAE. It is a part of the Hajar Mountains in the eastern part of Ras Al Khaimah. The altitude is about 1934 meters above the sea level, with breath-taking vistas and thrilling adventures. It is estimated that these mountains formed over 70 million years ago.

The temperature is moderate, about 10 degree centigrade lower than other popular landmarks across the country. The nature, landscape, wadis (Arabic word for Valley) and adventure attracts visitors to this beautiful and scenic location.

We had couple of visits to Jebel Jais and here are some pictures for you. If you haven’t visited this place, please add it to your list and make sure you visit Jebel Jais during your next outing.
