We were expecting some guests at home and I wanted to make something different for them. So tried the Wheat Flour Ladu. They liked it very much. You may also like it. Try this one.
Wheat flour: One cup
Jaggery: 1/2 cup grated ( those who love it very sweet, can take 3/4 cup)
Grated dry coconut: 1/4 cup
Elaichi: A Pinch
Dry fruits: Like Cashew, Pista and sliced Badam, cut into small pieces
Ghee: 1/4 cup
Fry dry fruits pieces in ghee and keep aside. Dry roast the wheat flour, till colour changes (in Low flame). Add grated dry coconut. Add Elaichi. Put off the flame and keep mixing for few minutes. Now add grated Jaggery and dry fruits pieces and mix well. Slowly add little ghee at a time and start making ladu.
