Today we have Mr. Paul Grant performing the Tabla Tarang. We saw Ghatam Tarang yesterday by Smt. Sukanya Ramgopal. Similar to the Ghatam, Tablas are tuned in such a way that they produce different tones.
Mr. Paul Grant is an American by birth. He is recognized for his mastery of the art of Santur playing in Indian, Iran and Afghan traditions. Born in 1951 in Atlanta, USA, he started his musical career as a drummer and singer. He performs with various bands playing Rock and Roll, Rhythm and Blues and Jazz.
