Kedarkantha

We did a Snow Trek at Kedarkantha last year. It was a wonderful experience for the first timer. The mountain peak Kedarkantha is a part of Himalayas, which is at an altitude of 12,500 feet (3,800 meters) and in the Uttarkashi District of Uttarakhand in India. Its parent range is Garhwal in Himalaya. It is located within the Govind Wildlife Sanctuary in Uttarkashi District. At the summit, one can have inspiring view of Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kinner Kailash and other ranges of Himachal.

It was indeed a wonderful experience for the first timer (myself and wife) who have never gone for a Trek and that too on a Snow Trek. Thought of sharing some beautiful pictures of the Trek. I shall come up with the full Trek details in one of my future articles. Enjoy the pictures.

Pin it for later
