World Environment Day

Nature provides us with fresh air, water for drinking, agriculture and all our needs and the food that we eat is also from the nature. Whatever that makes our planet habitable is coming from the nature.

What are we giving in return to the mother earth/nature? A bunch of organic and inorganic waste? Toxic gases?, and all sorts of Junk?. We cut the trees and pollute our rivers that creates health hazards to the present and future generations. There are many instances, where nature send us messages whenever we do harm to the nature but we are reluctant to accept it and our mistakes.

The World Environment Day is observed so that people from all over the world do as little contribution as possible by them to save and protect our nature and mother earth.

This year on 5th of June, we celebrated the World Environment Day at Ayiloor, a small panchayat in the Palghat District (Kerala) by planting some trees at our backyard as well as in some public places (which could be useful for many in the coming days). Here are some pictures of our activities.

Together we must act for the nature
